Who are Little Big Tree?

Little Big Tree is part of Little Big Tree Creations Limited comprising of Tim Venison, Kris Avery and Jake Fisher. Friends for over 20 years, they decided to start a venture together which combined their creativity, skill and ideas as well as their unique abilities in artistry and programming.

In January of 2006. Kris and Tim began work on developing their first published title 'Wings and Flowers', with the initial idea being inspired by Kris' family who are passionate scrapbook and craft aficionados.

Kris, Jake and Tim have all worked in their respective fields for over 10 years. Tim, although a developer has a particularly creative background, being an accomplished musician and studying Electronic Music at the University of Hertfordshire. Since then he has gone on to work with the London Sinfonietta, the LSO and Sound Intermedia specializing in technology for the arts.

Jake joined the team when it was decided to take Little Big Tree to new places. Jakes has worked as a Project Manager, Business Analyst and Consultant for multinational companies. Along with an artistic side in photography, Jake also has an in-depth knowledge of IT.

Kris is a talented and diverse artist who is extremely passionate about design, illustration and 3D animation. For the last 10 years, he has created artwork for all sorts of people, as well as being commissioned by a wide range of household names. Prior to his years in animation, he has also worked in television, and the US record industry.

What's with the name?

Little Big Tree as a name was formed around the idea that we are a little company with big ideas that grow in new and different directions each and every day. The logo came very quickly within hours of the name, and seemed to sum up how we were feeling at the time. A curious man looking up at a growing big idea.

Mission

Whatever Little Big Tree creates the main focus will be providing the tools and inspiration to aid creativity for all it's users.

Where next?

Little Big Tree have loads of artistic ideas they want to explore over the coming years, with both young and old in mind. More than anything, Kris and Tim both like to enjoy life, laugh and meet interesting new people along the way.
