Scrapbooking is a hobby that was initially spread by Tupperware-style parties in the USA, here women would meet to share tips and purchase new albums, papers and embellishments for their scrapbooking. The scrapbooking craze has been helped along in the UK by Richard and Judy along with many magazines and clubs dedicated to embellishments and scrapbooking. Scrapbooks are a little like photograph albums. The resultant crafty creation is a collection of pages, each one beautifully designed and adorned with embellishments. There are many things to remember like the rule of thirds and colour matching and getting that perfect matching embellishment! Accents are very important, you can add all sorts of embellishments to the pages, these can be printed just like the Little Big Tree original artowork, ribbons and even the odd button! There is a great scrapbooking article about this on Link to the BBC article on Scrapbooking
Anna makes beutifull cards for charity: I found this news article from a few years ago on the BBC news site. The article refers to a girl called Anna who really enjoys crafting and making cards, she had the idea of making cards and selling them to make money for charity. Anna came accross a problem in that the cost of materials was quite high, this is where the Little Big Tree Craft CDs would have helped as instead of having to pay £2-3 each time buying ready printed embellishments, she could only a slightly larger amount and get access to an unlimited number of embellishments for her card making. Sadly our Craft CD, Wings and Flowers was not published at that time. Here is the article about Anna and her card making for charity: CBBC News Charity Card Craft Article
