More equipment, and a question?

Hi

Hope this is in the right place. Re: equipment, if you're going to make your own cards, you'll need a folder. Question, in the video tut. for the pocket, looks like she has a great folder, any idea what make it is? I have one that wears away when you use it! very strange, maybe I'm doing something wrong. Also, does anyone know of a good cd which has instructions for actually making cards, rather than just the elements etc, for making. Many thanks.

Hiya Wendy. I have the same problem with my bone folder. Mine was a Docrafts one and the only one available in my local craft shop. It blunted the very first time I used it and now I have to be careful as it actually scratches my card stock! I don't think I'll ever buy a plastic one again. If I manage to find a good one I'll let you know.

On the CD front. Little Big Tree CD's are quite different from other CD's out there as they provide loads of images that are customisable but not specific projects. All CD's are different andl each have their own pro's and con's but I met some chaps at a craft show recently called Krafty Hands and their CD's are project based as opposed to just images.

It might be worth starting a new topic in the forum to get everyone elses opinion on which CD's they think are best.

Hiya Wendy,
I'm not sure where to get them from but my folder is a bone folder an old one that I was given ... (actually seems to be made from bone rather than the newer plastic versions) ... not sure if you can still get these ?
Not seen any CD's for instructions as such, but have you tried youtube and the magazines that are out there ?
