Wings and flowers Volumes 1 & 2

Special Multi Volume Installation Notice
When you install Wings and Flowers volumes 1 & 2 all the graphics will be placed within the same program giving you over 1000 images within the same program.
If you are unsure if you have both volumes installed correctly check for the categories of 'Birds' & 'Woodland'. If you have both categories you have all the images installed from BOTH volumes 1 & 2.

Installation

Notes on Installing W&F Volumes 1 & 2

When installing the both volumes of Wings & Flowers Collection on to your computer, simply put the Volume 1 CD into your computer. When you are asked for the ‘Install location’ or ‘Destination Folder’, the easiest thing to do is to accept the suggested folder by clicking the ‘Install’ button. Then do exactly the same thing with the Volume 2 CD. If you do decide to install the CD into another folder then you must install the Volume 2 CD into this same folder. Once you have installed both CDs, all the images will appear in the same place and the program will work with either CD in the drive. There is an easy way to check that you have both CDs installed correctly, simply look for the 3D Flowers Bundle and the B&W Flowers bundle. If you can see both these then you have successfully installed the Wings & Flowers Collection. When I put the CD in the drive to install nothing happens. - If the disk is being read, please be patient, it will be building the install process, on some computers this can take sometime before you see the menu. You will only need to do this once.

If the drive is CD is not being read follow the PC install process to start it manually. If you are installing on an Apple Mac, you will have to double click on the 'Wings & Flowers' CD icon on your desktop.

Printing

• Print Quality is poor - The output images should be smooth and crisp, if they are not check that you have selected 'High Quality', as well as the correct paper setting for the type of paper you are using in your printers preferences. For the best results, try photo paper.
• I'm having issues with printing - Check your printer's software is installed correctly in windows, try printing using another software to test it.
• What size paper do I need? - You can use any size or type paper (designed for a printer), W&F will resize the output to match your paper. Be sure to setup your printing preferences to match.
• My printout has clipped images - Check that you have the correct paper size setup within your printers preferences.

Live

• When I load Live I only see a white box - The program is not getting access to the internet. This may be because a firewall is blocking the program, please 'allow' access to 'WingsAndFlowers.exe'. see your firewall setup guide. for example (Norton, Zone Alarm, McAfee)

Operating Systems

• Does W&F support the new Windows Vista? - Yes we have now released version 1.2 of Wings and Flowers that has been fully tested on Windows Vista.
• Does W&F support Windows 95 or Windows 98? - Sorry no, we used to support Windows 98 but because it is over 10 years old we are unable to support it anymore. If you are desperate for a Windows 98 version we do have a few older CDs still available - Please contact us to buy these.
• Does W&F support Mac? -Yes! With our new version 1.2 we now support Apple Mac computers as long as you are running OS X 10.4 or 10.5 (Tiger or Leopard). The new Intel Processor Macs and the old Power Processor Macs are both supported.

• 256Mb of Memory
• 300Mb free disk space

PC Windows Installation Guide

To install on a Windows PC, insert the CD into your computer's CD or DVD drive. The CD will then begin the install process, please be patient this may take a few moments before you see the opening screen.

On the opening screen, click on the 'Install' button

You will then be presented with an installation box to guide you through the installation process.

If the CD does not run automatically, go to 'My Computer' in your start menu or desktop and open your CD by double click the CD icon, then double click the 'install' file to begin installation.

To run the program double click on the 'Wings and Flowers' Icon on your desktop or go to 'Wings and Flowers' in your 'start' program menu, you will need to put the CD in every time you want to run Wings & Flowers

Mac Installation Guide

To install on an Apple Mac computer, insert the CD into your computer's CD or DVD drive.

Double click on the 'Wings & Flowers' CD-ROM icon that appears on your desktop.

In the new window that opens, double click on the 'Wings & Flowers Install' icon.

You will then be presented with an installation box to guide you through the installation process. At the end of this you may be asked for your Mac password, enter your password and all should be done!

A new window will appear with the 'Wings & Flowers' icon, you can double click this to run the program, or you can click on the icon and drag it down to your Dock bar so you can easily run Wings & Flowers.
